Program Description
Discover the highlights of Zakynthos on a full-day tour that combines the island's history, culture and local traditions. From the charming capital and picturesque mountain villages to its spectacular coastline, this excursion offers the perfect introduction to the authentic side of Zakynthos.
Your journey begins in Zakynthos Town, the island's capital. Here, you'll visit the Church of Saint Dionysios, dedicated to the patron saint of Zakynthos, and Solomos Square, the lively heart of the town.
The tour continues to the oldest olive tree on Zakynthos, a remarkable symbol of the island's long-standing olive-growing tradition.
Next, you'll visit traditional mountain villages, including Anafonitria, where locals continue to produce olive oil, honey and aromatic herbs using traditional methods. You'll have the opportunity to learn about local customs, taste regional specialities and purchase authentic local products.
The excursion then continues to the harbour of Agios Nikolaos, where you'll have the option to join a boat trip to the Blue Caves (additional charge). Before returning to your hotel, you'll have free time to enjoy lunch at a traditional Greek taverna.
The order of visits and the programme may be subject to change.
