Program Description
Experience the charm of the Orient on a full-day excursion to Kuşadası, one of Turkey's most popular resorts on the Aegean coast. This is a fantastic opportunity to visit another country in a single day, discover Turkish culture, explore vibrant bazaars and enjoy the unique atmosphere of Asia Minor.
Your journey begins with a ferry crossing from Pythagorio (or Samos Town) to Kuşadası, which takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Upon arrival, you'll have the opportunity to join an optional excursion to the ancient city of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved archaeological sites in the world. It was here that the magnificent Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, once stood.
After the visit, you may choose to enjoy an optional lunch before returning to Kuşadası.
You'll then have time at leisure to explore the town at your own pace. Wander through the bustling Turkish bazaars, browse a wide variety of shops and discover traditional products, including oriental carpets, leather goods, jewellery, brassware and alabaster souvenirs.
After your visit, you'll board the ferry for the return journey to Samos.
The itinerary and programme may be subject to change.
