Program Description
Discover the unique charm of the Mekong Delta, one of Vietnam's most picturesque regions, where life has revolved around the river for generations. This full-day excursion offers the chance to experience local traditions, peaceful villages and the region's rich natural beauty.
Your journey begins with a visit to Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the Mekong Delta's most beautiful and famous temples. You will then board a traditional boat and cruise through the delta's narrow canals, passing lush vegetation and quiet riverside communities.
Along the way, visit a local fruit orchard, where you can sample fresh tropical fruits and enjoy homemade honey tea. You will also experience a performance of Đờn ca tài tử, the traditional folk music of southern Vietnam, recognised as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
To experience everyday village life, enjoy a short horse-cart ride through the countryside. The day concludes with lunch at a local garden restaurant before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.
