Program Description
Discover the vibrant atmosphere and rich history of Izmir, Turkey's third-largest city, known in ancient times as Smyrna. During this guided tour, you will experience the lively city centre, local culture and some of the places that best showcase Izmir's modern character.
One of the main stops is Kemeraltı, Izmir's largest and most famous historic bazaar. Its maze of streets filled with shops and market stalls is the perfect place to soak up the local atmosphere, taste Turkish flavours and browse for souvenirs and traditional products.
To complete your experience, enjoy a scenic ferry ride across the Gulf of Izmir to the district of Karşıyaka. From the water, you can admire the city and coastline from a different perspective. After the tour, you will return to your hotel.
