Program Description

Your day begins with a hotel pick-up, followed by a panoramic photo stop, where you can admire the surrounding landscapes and take memorable pictures. Next, you will visit a jewellery centre and a leather shop, where you’ll discover local products and try your hand at bargaining – an essential part of the local culture that lets you feel the true spirit of the region.
You will then head to the charming town of Akyaka, known for its peaceful atmosphere and scenic setting. Enjoy a boat trip along the Azmak River, famous for its crystal-clear waters and lush greenery. Afterwards, you will have free time in Akyaka to stroll around, relax or explore the area at your own pace.
To finish the day, you will visit a Turkish delight factory, where you’ll learn about the production process and taste traditional sweets. It’s the perfect place to pick up something delicious as a souvenir. After a day full of experiences, you will return to your hotel in the afternoon.

While in Marmaris, I recommend a tour around the city, including a visit to the nearby town of Akyaka. There`s a short boat ride on the river with crystal-clear water and picturesque vegetation – I highly recommend this part. You can also see crabs, turtles, fish, and other birds. I didn`t enjoy shopping at the jeweler`s or leather goods store, but the local pastry shop was okay (certainly lower prices than at Dalaman Airport).
