Program Description
Step back in time and discover one of the world's most important archaeological sites. Ephesus impresses with its monumental ruins, rich history and remarkable atmosphere, while a visit to the charming village of Şirince offers the perfect opportunity to experience both the legacy of ancient civilisations and the traditional side of Türkiye.
Your excursion begins with a comfortable transfer from your hotel to Ephesus, one of the best-preserved cities of the ancient world. As you walk along its historic streets, you will discover impressive remnants of Roman civilisation and learn why this city was once one of the region’s most important centres of trade and culture.
During the visit, you will see the Library of Celsus, considered one of the most iconic landmarks of Ephesus. Its magnificent façade has fascinated travellers for centuries and remains one of the most photographed sights in Türkiye. You will also visit the Great Theatre, which could accommodate up to 25,000 spectators and once hosted important events and performances during Roman times.
After exploring the ancient city, you will continue to the picturesque village of Şirince, nestled among green hills. The village is famous for its stone houses, traditional atmosphere and local produce. Here, you will have the opportunity to sample regional wines, olive oil and fresh fruit, as well as stroll through cobbled streets lined with small shops and handicraft stalls.
The programme also includes a visit to a jewellery store, where you can learn about local craftsmanship and admire pieces inspired by the region’s long-standing traditions.
After a day filled with history, flavours and beautiful scenery, you will return to your hotel.
