Program Description
Discover the most important landmarks of Seoul on a half-day tour that introduces you to the history, culture and traditions of South Korea’s capital. In just a few hours, you will visit some of the city’s most recognisable sites, travelling by comfortable transport with an experienced guide.
The first stop will be Gyeongbokgung Palace – the largest and most representative palace from the Joseon Dynasty. As you walk through its spacious courtyards and elegant pavilions, you will learn about Korea’s royal history and life at the former royal court.
Next, you will visit the National Folk Museum of Korea, where rich exhibitions present traditional Korean culture, customs and everyday life through the centuries.
The tour then continues to the Blue House (Cheong Wa Dae) – the former official residence of the presidents of South Korea. You will stop at a viewpoint where you can admire the distinctive complex surrounded by scenic mountains.
The final stop will be Jogyesa Buddhist Temple, the most important centre of Korean Zen Buddhism. This peaceful site impresses visitors with colourful lanterns, richly decorated architecture and a unique atmosphere of calm.
