Program Description
Embark on a journey to Wakan Village, which, during the season of blooming cherry blossom trees, transforms into the Sakura of Arabia. Begin with a visit to a fish market in Barka, experiencing the daily life of fishermen. On the way to Nakhl, stop at Bait Al Gasham house, which belonged to the Al Busaidi dynasty for 200 years; now, it's a beautiful museum. Possibility of visiting the museum by additional cost. Enjoy great views of palm plantations along the way to Nakhl. Upon arrival, seize the opportunity see the warm waters of Al Thowara spring and wander around the highest fort in Oman. Then head to the mountainward to the stunning Wadi Mistal. Take in the breathtaking scenery as you make your way across the wadi bed and start the climb to Wakan village, one of the most spectacular mountain villages in Oman.
