Program Description
Visit Moco Museum Amsterdam, a place where classic architecture meets bold modern and contemporary art. It is a unique opportunity to discover works by world-famous artists, explore different forms of artistic expression and see creativity in many inspiring forms.
The museum is housed in the historic Villa Alsberg, an elegant 1904 residence located in the heart of Amsterdam’s Museumplein. The building itself makes a strong impression - it was designed by Eduard Cuypers, cousin of the architect responsible for the Rijksmuseum. From the moment you step inside, you will feel the unique atmosphere of a place where history blends harmoniously with the present.
During your visit, you will see over 100 artworks by more than 35 artists. The collection includes paintings, sculptures, installations, as well as modern digital and immersive experiences. Among the featured creators are some of the biggest names in the global art scene, including Banksy, Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Yayoi Kusama, Damien Hirst, KAWS, Takashi Murakami and Daniel Arsham.
Moco Museum is known for its inspiring exhibitions created in cooperation with renowned curators. It is a space that encourages reflection, surprises with creativity and shows how contemporary art comments on the world around us. An additional advantage is the audio guide available in different languages, which will help you learn more about the stories behind the displayed works.
