Program Description
An unforgettable journey through the most atmospheric parts of Mexico City awaits you. This experience is perfect if you want to immerse yourself in local traditions, culture, and art.
Your day begins with a pick-up from your hotel or a previously agreed meeting point. From there, you will head to Xochimilco, where you will ride on a colourful trajinera and cruise along colourful canals that reflect centuries of local heritage. The experience is enriched by live mariachi music, creating a joyful, truly Mexican atmosphere you will remember long after the tour ends.
The next stop is Coyoacán - a neighbourhood known for its artistic soul, colonial architecture, and vibrant squares. During a guided walk, you will see highlights such as Plaza Hidalgo, Jardín Centenario, and the exterior of the San Juan Bautista Parish. You will also have free time to explore the local market at your own pace, taste regional flavours, or purchase souvenirs.
The highlight of the tour is a visit to Casa Roja - the family home of Frida Kahlo. This museum reveals a more intimate and personal side of the artist. Inside, you will discover personal belongings, early artworks, and archival photographs that offer more profound insight into her life and creative journey.
