Program Description

A walking tour in Sorrento awaits you, designed to let you discover the true flavors of the region, far from crowded and overly touristic spots. This experience is perfect for those who want to explore local cuisine, traditions, and the atmosphere of the city.

You will meet a local guide in the center of Sorrento in the late afternoon and set off on an easy walk of approximately 3 kilometers along a scenic route. Along the way, you will visit a traditional lemon grove, where you will learn why Sorrento lemons are so unique and how they have influenced the region’s cuisine and culture for generations. Your guide will also introduce you to the production of olive oil, local cheeses, wines, and the culinary traditions of the area.

During the tour, you will taste regional specialties, including homemade bread with extra virgin olive oil, bruschetta, local cheeses, salami, seasonal vegetables, and a glass of wine. Each tasting is an opportunity to experience the flavors of Campania and understand how important high-quality ingredients are in southern Italian cuisine.

The walk concludes with a visit to a limoncello factory, where you will discover the secrets behind the production of this iconic liqueur. During a guided limoncello tasting, you will learn what distinguishes traditional limoncello from mass-produced versions and why this lemon liqueur has become a symbol of the region. After the visit, you will return to the meeting point area, enriched with new tastes and memorable experiences.

The order of visits and the program may be subject to change.
