During the excursion, you will walk among Mediterranean plants and crops typical of Calabria. You will learn more about organic farming methods and traditional ways of cultivating the land, which have been part of the local culture for generations.
The region’s fertile soil and mild climate create perfect conditions for growing citrus fruits, figs, vegetables and aromatic herbs. On site, you will see orange and lemon trees, as well as crops of tomatoes, aubergines and herbs such as basil and oregano.
This experience will allow you to better understand the close relationship between the people of Calabria and nature, while discovering the region’s more traditional and peaceful side.
