Program Description
Set off on an unforgettable evening adventure in search of one of the world’s most extraordinary natural phenomena – the Northern Lights. Far away from the city lights, you will have the opportunity to witness the magical display of green lights dancing across the Arctic sky and create memories that will stay with you forever.
After departing from Reykjavík, you will travel to carefully selected locations offering the best possible conditions for viewing the Northern Lights. The route is adjusted according to the latest weather forecasts and solar activity, maximising your chances of experiencing this spectacular natural phenomenon.
Throughout the excursion, you will be accompanied by an experienced guide, who will explain the science behind the Aurora Borealis while also sharing fascinating Icelandic legends and local folklore connected with this remarkable phenomenon.
When the conditions are just right, you will stop away from artificial light to admire the colourful ribbons of light illuminating the night sky. Every Northern Lights display is unique, making each excursion a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
While waiting for the aurora to appear, you can warm up with a cup of hot chocolate, adding a cosy touch to an unforgettable evening beneath Iceland’s star-filled sky.
Watching the Northern Lights is one of Iceland’s most iconic experiences and a must for anyone who loves nature, photography and unforgettable travel moments.
