Pick-up from hotels. Drive to the Mavromatis distillery producing liqueur and other products from Corfu's unique fruit, the kumquat. On site, you will be shown a short film about the production of the liqueur, followed by a liquor tasting. Drive to Paleokastritsa, from where you will start a cruise in a fishing boat along the west coast, during which you can admire mountain slopes, small coves, and caves. During the cruise, there will be time for swimming in the area of Limni Bay, which consists of two beaches. Return to Paleokastritsa. A break for coffee, shopping, or a self-guided visit to the nearby Panagia Theothokos Monastery situated on top of a cliff (about 800 m walk), founded around 1228. The monastery is surrounded by white walls, has a garden with arcades covered in flowers, an old oil mill, and a small museum. On the way back, stop at Arakli Hill. There you will find the Bella Vista viewpoint, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea. Return to the hotels passing through traditional villages, olive forests, and almond gardens.
