Program Description
You will embark on a unique journey through the heart of the British capital, where you will see London’s most famous landmarks from a completely different perspective - the deck of a boat on the River Thames. This relaxing cruise is a perfect way to discover the character of the city, its history and its most iconic sights in a short time.
The Thames has been London’s main artery for centuries and today it offers some of the best views of the city skyline. During the cruise, you will glide through Central London, passing famous bridges, historic buildings and landmarks that create the unmistakable panorama of the British metropolis.
Along the way, you will see the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, symbols of British democracy, as well as the impressive St Paul’s Cathedral, whose majestic dome dominates the London skyline. You will also pass Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, a reconstruction of the famous theatre associated with one of the greatest playwrights in history.
The cruise continues past HMS Belfast, a historic warship that now serves as a museum, and near the Tower of London, a medieval fortress that has served as a royal palace, prison and treasury of the Crown over the centuries. One of the highlights of the cruise will be the view of Tower Bridge, one of the most recognisable bridges in the world.
During the journey, you can relax and admire the city skyline while listening to audio commentary that introduces the history and fascinating stories behind the landmarks you pass. It is a great opportunity to discover the most important sights of London in a comfortable way.
