From there, you’ll set off towards Oxford – known as the “City of Dreaming Spires”. As you stroll through the charming streets with your guide, you’ll see beautiful Gothic architecture and historic colleges once attended by J.R.R. Tolkien, Albert Einstein, and Adam Smith. Afterwards, enjoy some free time to browse the famous Blackwell’s Bookshop, relax in a cozy café, or simply take in the city’s vibrant academic spirit.
Your next destination is Cambridge – a city where tradition meets innovation. Together with your guide, you’ll visit St Mary the Great Church, whose tower offers breathtaking panoramic views over the city. It’s a wonderful spot to admire the iconic college rooftops and the River Cam, where punts glide peacefully along the water. You’ll then have some free time to explore at your own pace – visit King’s College Chapel, wander through leafy courtyards, or follow in the footsteps of Charles Darwin, Isaac Newton, and David Attenborough.
