Program Description
The best way to discover the wild coastline of the Akamas Peninsula and one of Cyprus’ most iconic natural attractions is a relaxing boat cruise. Seen from the sea, the dramatic cliffs, crystal-clear bays and untouched landscapes reveal their full beauty, creating a sense of tranquillity and escape. This part of Cyprus has long remained protected, shaped by nature as well as the region’s complex history, which has helped preserve its authentic character.
The cruise begins in the port of Latchi, heading along the most scenic stretches of the Akamas coastline. From the very first moments, the changing shades of turquoise water and striking rock formations create unforgettable views. Along the route, the boat passes the Baths of Aphrodite, a legendary site deeply rooted in Cypriot mythology, as well as St George’s Island, admired for its wild scenery and postcard-worthy panoramas.
Further along the coast, the cruise reaches the impressive Manolis Sea Caves, naturally sculpted by wind and waves over centuries. The journey continues to the calm Blaji Bay, known for its clear waters and peaceful atmosphere, before passing Fontana Amorosa, considered one of the most romantic and visually striking spots along the Akamas coast.
