Program Description

Discover one of the most picturesque sides of Dalmatia, where spectacular landscapes blend with local flavours and the region’s rich history. This tour is a perfect choice if you want to explore beyond the coastline – a journey through the Dalmatian hinterland, charming villages and breathtaking viewpoints awaits you.

Your experience begins with a scenic drive along the coast and through lesser-known, authentic parts of the region. The first stop is the Gubavica Waterfall – the highest waterfall on the Cetina River, surrounded by unspoilt nature. You will then continue through the area of the former Poljica Republic – a place with a fascinating past and a unique atmosphere where time seems to slow down.

Next, you will stop at a viewpoint above Omiš, offering panoramic views over the sea, the island of Brač and the Cetina River canyon. It’s the perfect moment to pause and take in one of the most impressive landscapes in this part of Croatia.

You will then reach Omiš – a town known for its pirate history, where medieval fortresses overlook the surroundings. You will see the Mirabella Fortress from the 13th century and the Fortica (Starigrad), both of which once protected the town. During your free time, you can stroll through the narrow streets, relax on the sandy beach or stop at one of the local cafés.

The next highlight is a mini cruise along the Cetina River canyon, where you will discover a completely different side of the region – green, peaceful and immersed in nature. Afterwards, enjoy some well-deserved relaxation during a traditional Dalmatian lunch at a local restaurant. You will taste regional specialities, including meat and potatoes prepared under a traditional cast-iron bell, known as “peka”.

After a day full of experiences, you will return to your hotel, enjoying the coastal views along the way.
The order of the visits and the programme may be subject to change.
