Program Description
Among Hong Kong’s modern skyscrapers, a tram still runs that remembers a completely different era. Although the city is constantly changing, this distinctive vehicle continues to travel through its streets, offering a perspective that brings together Hong Kong’s history, culture and everyday life.
During the TramOramic Tour, you will take your seat on a vintage tram inspired by vehicles from the 1920s and set off on a journey through one of the world’s most dynamic cities. Instead of seeing Hong Kong only through its famous landmarks, you will experience its true rhythm - busy streets, distinctive architecture, local neighbourhoods and places where tradition remains part of everyday life.
The unique character of this journey comes from the combination of a bygone atmosphere and views of modern Hong Kong. During the ride, you will see how the city’s heritage blends with contemporary architecture and its fast-paced lifestyle. From the open-top deck, you can take in the changing scenery at a relaxed pace and notice details that are often missed when exploring in a hurry.
The audio guide accompanying the ride will introduce you to stories about the places along the route, Hong Kong’s culture and its development over time. Thanks to it, each street and part of the city gains additional context, making the journey more than just a ride - it becomes a way to better understand the place.
After the tour, you will have the opportunity to enjoy unlimited tram rides for 2 days, giving you extra time to continue exploring Hong Kong at your own pace and return to the places that caught your attention the most.
