Northern Gran Canaria is renowned for its picturesque landscapes, charming towns and places where nature blends seamlessly with local traditions. During this excursion, you will discover some of the island's most distinctive locations, experience authentic Canarian flavours and visit a unique botanical garden filled with exotic plant species.

Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the lush northern part of Gran Canaria to Arucas, a town famous for the impressive Church of St. John the Baptist, often referred to as the "Little Sagrada Familia". This magnificent Neo-Gothic church is one of the island's most recognisable landmarks. After your visit, you will have free time to stroll through the charming streets and soak up the atmosphere of this traditional Canarian town.

Next, you will visit the traditional Arucas rum distillery, where you will learn about the history and production of one of the Canary Islands' most famous spirits. The visit concludes with a rum tasting, giving you the opportunity to sample locally produced rums renowned for their distinctive flavour.

The journey continues to Agaete, a picturesque harbour town known for its whitewashed buildings and dramatic coastline framed by towering cliffs. During your free time, you can take a leisurely walk along the seafront, relax in one of the local cafés or simply admire the spectacular scenery.

On the way back, you will stop in Firgas, famous for its impressive stepped waterfall and colourful azulejo tiles, which depict the history and symbols of the Canary Islands.

Your final stop will be the Guiniguada Botanical Garden, home to an outstanding collection of plant species native to the Canary Islands. Surrounded by palms, cacti and a wide variety of exotic vegetation, you will discover the remarkable biodiversity of this unique archipelago.

Very good, wonderful views, OK organization. The trip met expectations. Recommended - Edyta and Jacek (trip May 30, 2026).

A beautiful trip, with breathtaking views. The guide was good, though I`ve seen more professional ones. The dinner was awful, like in the old cafeterias. Despite being able to choose from three meals, almost none of the participants were happy with their meal.
