Program Description
Discover some of Austria’s most remarkable destinations on a full-day trip from Vienna. Visit Salzburg, travel through the scenic Salzkammergut lake region and explore the Alpine village of Hallstatt, surrounded by mountain landscapes.
Your first stop is Salzburg, the setting of "The Sound of Music". Wander through the historic Old Town and see locations connected with the film while experiencing the atmosphere of this well-known Austrian city.
The journey then continues through the Salzkammergut region, famous for its lakes and Alpine scenery. Along the way, you will see Lake Wolfgangsee and the town of St. Gilgen, located on its shore.
Next, visit Hallstatt, a picturesque village set beside an Alpine lake with mountain views. On the return journey, you will also stop in Traunkirchen, a resort town situated beside Austria’s deepest lake.
