Program Description
Discover two of Albania's capitals in one day and explore both the country's modern character and its rich historical heritage. This full-day excursion takes you to vibrant Tirana and the picturesque town of Kruja, closely associated with Albania's national hero, Skanderbeg.
Your journey begins in Tirana, Albania's lively capital, known for its colourful architecture and fascinating contrasts. During a guided walk, you'll visit the city's main landmarks, including Skanderbeg Square, Et'hem Bey Mosque, the Clock Tower, the distinctive Pyramid of Hoxha, and the city's main boulevard. Afterwards, enjoy some free time to explore the city centre at your own pace.
The tour then continues to Kruja, the first historical capital of Albania and one of the country's most important cultural sites. Explore the impressive Kruja Castle and stroll through the charming Old Town before enjoying free time for lunch and shopping at the famous Old Bazaar, also known as the "Turkish Street", where you'll find traditional handicrafts and local products.

Kruja is definitely a very attractive place with beautiful views and a well-organized museum, Tirana has diverse architecture and stunning buildings.
It was fruitful. We were able to see the most important things, leaving little to be desired in Tirana. There, we could have had an hour more and seen more.
