Pamukkale travertines are unique in the world. Pamukkale is listed as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO since 1988. Take off your shoes and take a walk through this wonderland of basins filled with warm clear water and admire the scenery. After discovering the terraces you will enter the ancient city of Hierapolis which is nearby. Learn something about the multifarious and interesting history during its Byzantine and Roman periods on the guided tour and later discover it on you own or take the chance and bathe in the ancient main thermal pool.
