Program Description
Visite d`environ 3 heures dans l`un des endroits les plus humides du pays, situé à l`ouest du Sri Lanka. Le nom Kitulgala provient de la plante brûlante caryota qui au Sri Lanka est appelée « kitul ». Ici, on cultive des bananes, rouges et jaunes, et à des altitudes plus élevées, des hévéas. La plupart des espèces d`oiseaux tropicaux sont présentes dans la Réserve mondiale de la biosphère de Sinharaja. Kitulgala est définitivement un endroit à visiter ! Le film primé aux Oscars "Le Pont de la rivière Kwaï" a également été tourné ici.
