Day 1. Departure from the meeting point in Seville and transfer to Doñana National Park - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The first destination of this exciting route will be the wetlands in the northern part of Doñana Park, where you can enjoy a unique landscape home to hundreds of birds. We will continue the route through the northern zone of the Doñana National Park until we reach El Rocío - a unique village with sandy streets where residents ride horses, giving the impression that we have traveled back in time. After a walk through the atmospheric streets, we will reach the hermitage, which is the destination of the world-famous pilgrimage known as Romeria El Rocío, which attracts about a million people every year. Then drive from Aldea de Rocío towards the Acebrón Palace, where there is a circular trekking route during which you can admire the characteristic features of the gallery forest. At the end of the path, there is a short break to taste the local cuisine at one of the nearby restaurants. Our next destination will be Doñana beach, which is the longest pristine beach in Spain. We will learn about the plant and animal species living there, as well as the process of creating unique moving dunes. If the weather permits, we will be able to take a refreshing swim at the end of the afternoon. Back to El Rocío. Accommodation and free time. Accommodation.
