Program Description

A visit to the Seville Aquarium presents the opportunity to see a wide range of marine animals in large, modern tanks. The stars of the show are sharks, but there are also many other unusual and brightly colored species. The Seville Aquarium has the largest shark tanks in Europe and the facilities are inspired by Magellan’s exploration of the Pacific.

The theme of the Seville Aquarium is the journey of Elcano and Magellan, through which a great variety of ecosystems of the planet are presented, corresponding to the areas that were traveled in the first round the world.

The Seville Aquarium has 10,000 square meters of ample exhibition space with huge tanks up to 9 meters deep, as well as a spectacular variety of river and marine fauna, such as hammerhead sharks and the famous bull sharks. The central tank of the Aquarium of Seville impresses with its immense size, with aquariums rich in coral reefs, giant sharks and crocodile environments. In addition, there is an area where you can meet sea urchins and starfish.
