In the Bangli region of Bali, Kintamani is a village located on the western edge of the larger Batur volcano caldera. One of Bali's two active volcanoes, Mount Batur, which is a part of the so-called Pacific Ring of Fire, is a spectacular sight to behold on this tour. The journey begins with a visit to Batubulan to see a performance of the Barong and Keris dance, a traditional dance drama about the struggle between good and evil, from the 12th century. Visit the Bali Gold and Silver Center, CELUK, on the way back. After that, head to Mas village, which is renowned for its distinctive wood carving. Continue your journey after passing through the gorgeous Kintamani to Gunung Kawi Sebatu, a collection of old temple structures with lush gardens, pools of crystal-clear spring water, and ornamental carp and lotus blooms floating on their surface. The famed Tegalang rice terraces, the tour's final destination, offer a breathtaking view of the multistage green rice fields where palm trees and bananas flourish.
