Drive to Sevan lake perched high in the elevated Armenian terrain, which is the largest, sweet water lake in Caucasus situated at this height of 2000 meters. Gorgeous view to lake Sevan is open from the peninsula atop where Sevan monastery is nicely nestled dating to IX century. Drive to a very nice restaurant with a possibility to taste the famous Armenian Trout. After lunch, the excursion will continue to Dilijan town which Armenians call a “Small Switzerland”. It is located in a completely different climate zone and its scenic landscapes are covered with thick forests. Visit the ethnic part of the city with numerous souvenir shops and a pottery workshop. Continue with a visit of Dilijan Art gallery and Geological Museum. Finally, drive to Haghartsin monastery of the 13th century situated in the heart of the forest and have a walk around.
